Arsenal’s late attempt to sign Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang appears to have ended in failure, according to reports in Italy.
Agent Federico Pastorello, an intermediary for the deal, claims the Belgian winger won’t be leaving in the transfer window after interest from the Gunners and AC Milan.
“It’s very unlikely he’ll move, as Dalian Yifang have formally taken him off the market,” Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia.
“His name could be back in the headlines over the summer. In truth, the negotiations never really started. There were some shows of interest from Italy, but we never went beyond that.”
