The former Governor of Nairobi Evans Kidero has come out for the first time to speak on the current report card of Nairobi county.
The former Governor Kidero who has been in the center of many scandals involving the city has come out clean saying he did his work without getting his hands dirty.
Kidero was in row in EACC who were even threatening to seize his properties and that of his wife, citing numerous corruption cases that involved him while serving as the governor of Nairobi county.
The court gave him a breather after turning down EACC request to freeze his assets.
On Governor Mike Sonko’s performance Kidero urged the people of Nairobi to give him time , he will deliver.
Speaking during a live interview on Citizen TV , Dr Evans Kidero said that almost half of county official are not carrying out their duties as prescribed which in the end paints a bad name for Governor Sonko.
He has also challenged him to pull up his socks in serving the people of Nairobi. Terming of cartels as the reason for under performance is vague bearing in mind he has almost supreme power in running of the county.
