Arsenal boss provides update on Bellerin

Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin could be out of action for a significant period of time after Unai Emery admitted his injury is “not positive on first impression.”

The Spaniard was stretched off in the 72nd minute of Arsenal’s 2-0 win over cross-town rivals Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday.

“The prediction is it could be an important injury,” Emery said after the match.

Bellerin, making his first start for the gunners in five weeks, was influential against Chelsea providing the assist to Lacazette for the opening goal and was one of two Arsenal players with the most interceptions and blocks, Laurent Koscielny being the other.
