This is why Ruto referred to MPs as homosexuals

The debate to attain gender balance in the houses of representations have sparked numerous reactions among Kenyans.

Some people have expressed their support in efforts to attain a balanced society where even women have a say in the national matters. For over years it has been said that the society is dominated by man, Women take a back seat when it comes to National matters.

But to attain the 2/3 representation has proved to be an uphill task. The first time the Bill was tabled in the parliament it failed to attain the required threshold.

For the second time Duale is sponsoring the debate will it really pass?

Just last week Ole Sankok nominated member of parliament from Nakuru has trending online for his conditions for the bill. Sankok said that the women who deserve to be nominated should be women of dignity.  He elaborated by saying that they should be married with known husband and children. This attracted an online confrontation from single women who rubbished his reasoning.

Didmus Barasa Kiminini member of parliament also said nominating women to positions of power is spoon feeding them.

Now the Deputy President is at it again.

Deputy President William Ruto has given a though tongue lashing to male politicians opposed to the two-third Gender Bill, branding them homosexuals. Ruto who was in Nyandarua county on Monday, November 26, to commission roads and open Ol Kalou CDF office, told off section of lawmakers from the region for opposing the Bill, terming it a worthwhile government project.
This was after host MP Jeremiah Kioni of Ndaragua constituency weathered into the stormy issue arguing proponents of the Aden Duale-sponsored draft are seeking to create more positions for cronies under the guise of constitutional change.
“If you have a mother, a girlfriend, a wife and a daughter, why oppose the three gender rule? This is a government policy. No sane man comes out openly opposing or fighting women. Why do men want to compete with women? Those opposed to the law must be homosexuals,” said Ruto.
Do you think the Bill will be passed into law?
