Just last week,Willy Paul woke up to news that he was hospitalised for overdosing on Spedra a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.
In a message alongside his photo that went viral read, “Gospel musician Willy Paul rushed to MP Shah Hospital after taking an overdose of sex stimulant drug alleged to be Spedra. Spedra is 10 times stronger than Viagra. The controversial artist was having a nice time with his girlfriend in Parklands Estate.”
However the gospel boy was quick enough to clear his name after he released a video tellingh his fans thbat he was well and had not overdosed on any drug.
In an interview with Citizen Radi presenter Willy Tuva on Mseto east Africa Willy Paul confirmed that the story was a fabricated one by admiting that he had even abstained from sex till marriage.

“I wasn’t admitted in hospital plus at my age how will I be using Viagra? Mimi Kwanza naabstain hadi nioe. After this story nikasema I wish kuna tu wale walikua wamepitia kwa mikono yangu watokee tu waseme Willy hakuangi hivyo. Willy hatumiangi hizo vitu but unfortunately hakuna wenye wanaweza tokea juu niliamua kuabstain tu until marriage,” Said Willy Paul
He further disclosed on how his peers and family members sent him messages of quick recovery including his mother over something he was not even aware of only to see the article.
“People called me to wish me a quick recovery including my mum, neighbours and in a few minutes I was sent that article. People are crazy.”
In the recent past Willy Paul has been associated with a number of scandals with the most recent one being a video that went viral on the internet where he was seen slaping and smashing a woman’s phone.He later cameout to clarify the video sayin g it was his upcoming reality show.
Just recently on ten over ten show on citizen TV with Willis Raburu, Paul also commented on the same story saying that the lady was indeed her sister who was high on hard drugs and she apparently annoyed him.
