Pogba attacks Mourinho after Wolves draw

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has lambasted Jose Mourinho’s approach to the Wolverhampton Wanderers game that ended in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Saturday 22nd September.

Pogba has been reported to have a frosty relationship with Mourinho in the recent past with the Frenchman looking like a frustrated figure under his manager. Pogba has been rumored to be heading for the exit doors at United and Barcelona have stepped up their interest, sending scouts to monitor the midfielder in every game. United lost further ground to title challengers Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City after their frustrating home draw to Wolves.

The former Juventus midfielder questioned Jose Mourinho’s tactics after the draw to Wolves, “We’re at home, and we should play much better against Wolves. When we’re at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We’re here to attack. I think teams are scared when they see Manchester United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake.”

Pogba asked Manchester United to emulate their rivals in terms of how they attack, “We should just attack and press, like we did against Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season. When we play like this, it’s easier for us.” When asked who stopped the team from attacking Pogba replied, “I can’t tell you because I’m a player. It’s not me. I’m not the manager, I cannot, like, say that, but obviously we should show more options of playing.”
