President Uhuru Kenyatta has affirmed his pledge to fight corruption as he was signing the 2018 Finance Bill into Law.
The bill which was passed in parliament on Thursday 20th 2018 contained his proposals, among them cutting the budget and recommendation of an 8% VAT tax on petroleum products which was cut from the 16% VAT tax that had already been brought into effect by National Treasury CS Henry Rotich.
Uhuru gave his commitment to ensure proper utilisation of public resources for a better Kenya.

Kenyans will have to struggle to make the ends meet since the President’s proposal had a lot of hidden taxes that have now stroke Kenyans with the passing and signing into law the 2018 Finance Bill.
