Reports had earlier said that Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had earlier barred all journalists from accessing the airport.
Earlier on Thursday the Ugandan police made arrests on the journalists who had made their way to the Airport, alongside Bobi’s family members and friends.
Bobi had gone to the United States to seek specialized treatment after being tortured by the Ugandan army during his arrest and had made his way back through kenya’s Jomo kenyatta International Airport.
He later moved to Entebbe aboard Kenya Airways flight where he was arrested immediately he landed.
