Governor Okoth Obado, the chief suspect in the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno will not spend the night in a cold prison cell like the other suspects. No! The governor is too big for that.
Pictures have emerged online, of the county boss being whisked away from the Nyanza Police Headquarters after more than six hours of grilling.

But nobody knows whether he was being grilled or was just having a cup of tea with the detectives. The government revealed that Obado, will undergo DNA tests as part of the investigations.
Sharon’s mutilated body was discovered in a thicket in Kodera forest last week, two days after she was abducted by Michael Oyamo, who is Obado’s Personal Assisstant. Oyamo is still in police custody.

An autopsy report revealed that the seven month pregnant student was gang-raped before being stabbed eight times.
It is believed that Obado had a love affair with the deceased and he could be the father of the baby.
