Mohamed Salah makes top 10 on Forbes List

Forbes Middle East announced that Egypt’s international winger Mohamed Salah tops its list for the Best 10 Arab Football Players.

The magazine said on its official Twitter account that Mohamed Salah was the most crowned player in the 2017/18 season and that the 26-year-old player is on top of Forbes’ list for the best Arab footballers.

The Egyptian king was able to snatch a number of award after his great debut season with Liverpool as he scored 44 goals across all competitions with Liverpool and became the Premier League’s best ever goalscorer in a 38-game campaign with 32 goals.

He helped the Reds reach the UEFA Champions League final and secure a fourth-place finish in the Premier League.

Additionally, he was Egypt’s key player during the team’s campaign in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers and was able to lead the Pharaohs to play their first World Cup in 28 years.

Salah is currently nominated for the FIFPro World 11 award, in addition to FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player of the Year award alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric and reaching the final list for FIFA the Puskas Award competing for scoring the best goal of the year
