Arsenal legend Lee Dixon has questioned the performance of Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses, accusing him of being nonchalant despite the Super Eagles trailing by two goals in the loss to Croatia in their opening Group D fixture at the ongoing World Cup.
Speaking in a post-match analysis, Dixon said, ”…when we watched the game that it was like a friendly, it was like a practice match. Even in the end, Moses was kicking the ball out in the corner flag, he was 2-0 down. It was a bizarre performance for me, no effort or endeavour to try and get any point.”
Nigeria were beaten 2-0 by Croatia due to their sloppy defending which means Nigeria must beat Iceland in their next game on Friday to keep any hopes of making it out of the group alive.
