Antonie Griezmann has revealed he will announce on Thursday what his future holds, on a television show.
Barcelona have been the leading club interested in the Frenchman after he enjoyed another stellar campaign under Diego Simeone in the Spanish capital. In a teasing video which was tweeted by Movistar+, Griezmann said: ‘You will be fed up by the comments that say if I leave, if I stay, how much they give me. But the truth is what I am going to say now.’
Gerard Pique, Barcelona’s stalwart defender, wasted no time in replying to the tweet, saying he will be watching with popcorn in hand as the French superstar reveals his decision following a transfer saga which has rumbled on for almost a year.
