Real Madrid believed they were close to landing the Real Sociedad star but Jose Mourinho’s interest has thrown a spanner in the works.
According to Don Balon, who are renowned for their outlandish transfer claims, the Red Devils boss has requested the signing of Odriozola and tabled a proposal.
The 22-year-old is available for around £35m (€40M) due to a reported release clause in his contract, which expires in 2022
