Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is not concerned about his future and will let the club take the call, amid links to Manchester United. The Belgian centre-back is entering the last year of his contract with Spurs but negotiations for a new deal have hit a snag as the player is looking to triple his salary.
Alderweireld currently earns £50,000-per-week, but the 29-year-old is looking for wages closer to 150,000 pounds per week, in what would likely be his last big contract. But Spurs are not willing to make that offer, considering their highest earner is Harry Kane, who only earns 110,000-per-week.
United, meanwhile, are in the hunt for a quality centre-back and Alderweireld would certainly fit the bill.
