Ubuntu Cape Town FC’s young Amajita defender Luke Fleurs, has joined Supersport United on a long-term deal after the two clubs agreed terms.
Fleurs a product of the Ubuntu Football Academy and their partner club Fish Hoek AFC, joined the club in 2013.
He made his debut for Ubuntu Cape Town in the National First Division last August – just 17 years old at the time. He went on to be a top performer in both the NFD and in an impressive Nedbank Cup run.
The youngster from Mitchells Plain was part of the national U17 team in 2016, starting all 13 Amajimbos matches that year, and has recently been part of Thabo Senong’s U20 squad for the qualifiers against Mozambique.
