Barcelona have decided to maintain their stand in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Reports indicate that he has beed a possible target for Barca but it has recently been suggested that Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann is the club’s top priority for the summer.
However, Barca are not sure the Griezmann will them and leave Atletico madrid.
The report suggests that an effort will be made to sign Eriksen, who only has two years remaining on his contract at the North London outfit.
Spurs allegedly have no plans to sell any of their star men during this transfer window but if Eriksen shows a willingness to make the switch, chairman Daniel Levy may have to change his stance.
Eriksen has spent the last five years at Spurs, scoring 56 goals in 226 appearances in all competitions.
