Good morning Kenyans.
It is the second week of the new month which brings new expectations in our day to day lives.
The political arena has witnessed a few tense moments even when politics is not involved.
Deputy President William Ruto had a tough week and was even made worse during the National Prayer Day held at State House.
Ruto looked to be both a frustrated man and one who seemed not to really care at the disrespect being shown to him on live television.
The DP was so overlooked that he was never even given a chance to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta to make his speech as protocol dictates.
The moment of ‘turmoil’ was capped when it was alleged that the second in command decided to watch his bosses speech from the screens at the venue instead of looking at him directly.
This brings up the big question, is Uhuru becoming too much with the disrespect he is dishing out to Ruto?

Politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto have been criticized after they used a popular gospel song while they were protesting how Ruto is being treated.
ODM leader Raila Odinga was back in the mix of things after being absent during the National prayer day event.
Raila attended a church service in Bondo where he was seen together with business tycoon Jimmy Wanjigi.
What, however, caught everybody’s attention was the fact that the ‘Chungwa’ party leader was able to attended the service despite the new order given by NSAC.
In the wake of the chaos that was witnessed in Murang’a and Nyamira, the new rule was that the area police authorities would to be informed of such a meeting three days prior to it.
This leaves one wondering, is the rule biased towards some leaders?
