Harambee Starlets coach David Ouma has named the starting lineup for Kenya’s opening match of the CECAFA Women Championships against Ethiopia.
The coach has named Topista Situma in the starting team, with a big chunk of it being those who did duty in their Olympics Qualifier against Zambia.
Nelly Sawe has also been drafted in at left-back.
Starlets dropped out of the Olympics Qualifying race last week, and now have their sights set on the regional tourney, set to be played over the next two weeks.
“This tournament is a new chance for my players to redeem themselves,” said coach David Ouma.
“We are well prepared and fully focused. The players are motivated and raring to go and I am confident that we will post a positive result,” he added.
Starlets have been pooled in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Uganda.
