TV47 news anchor Abubakar Abdullahi Mohamed has been endorsed by netizens as the man to replace departing senior political journalist Hussein Mohamed at Citizen TV.
Abubakar’s command of current affairs and topical matters has captivated many.
Kenyans online have described him as a young confident man with knowledge on his topics after his video went viral and believe he’s the only guy capable of filling his shoes.
Some netizens commended his interviewing skills saying he was a good as his senior Hussein Mohammed.

Abubakar is a graduate of Daystar University and currently anchors news at TV47 after previously working with Standard Media Group.
Hussein announced that he will be departing from Citizen TV after ten years of service saying that he needed a break from the grueling works of the newsroom.
