There has been a lot of debate about how Kenyan churches are receiving huge donations from politicians without questioning the source of the money. It seems churches are doing even worse crimes, like peddling drugs.

Our attention has been drawn to a story in Voi, where a bus belonging to PEFA Church was busted transporting bhang.

Some people believe this was a masterstroke from the driver and his assistant who devised a means to transport the 240 rolls of bhang stacked in Omena sacks.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have heard of Kenyan churches veering off the way of the Lord. Is there any need for worshipping in these Kenyan churches?

Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa was finally arrested in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at her home.

Jumwa is said to have been involved in a scuffle with Orange Democratic Movement supporters in Ganda ward, Malindi county.

The family of Mariam Kighenda and Amanda Mutheu have to battle the Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) agency’s insurer in court for compensation.

KFS Managing Director Bakari Gowa yesterday advised the family to seek legal guidance in anticipation of a court battle.

MPs Summon Matiang’i to Appear Before Them

Interior Chief Administrative Secretary Patrick Ntutu was yesterday told he cannot represents his boss Fred Matiangi’ before a parliamentary committee.

Members of the Committee on Administration and National Security sent Ntutu away, saying the Constitution mandated the CS to appear before them in person.
