Kenya’s two-time Olympic 800m champion and world record holder David Lekuta Rudisha seems to not only have disappeared from the public life but also from his own family.
His wife broke the news on social media raising questions on the state of their young family and marriage of the champions respected in Kenya and the World.
Someone talk to Rudisha and his wife. Looks like depression is pinning her down. She needs counseling. pic.twitter.com/34mAKwE9tQ

Speaking to standard, his agent Mitchel Boeting, was hesistant to comment on his client’s family matters insisting that he dint even know about the post by the wife.
Kenyans were however sympathetic and while hoping it isnt true, insisted that champion should be careful not to wash his dirty linen in public.

‘King David’ as he is commonly referred to is a huge role model in the country and has enjoyed a lot of goodwill since he started his exploits. Despite suffering a knee injury in 2013, he returned to win silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
There was no stopping for him as he won his second world title in 2015 in Beijing, China before bagging second Olympic gold medal in 2016. He is expected to also miss the coming season however due to a recurring injury.
