The Kenya Men Basketball team, Morans, booked a spot in the semi-finals of the ongoing inaugural AfroCan Basketball Championship in Bamako, Mali, after edging out Tunisia 82-76 in a tightly contested fixture on Wednesday night.
Tunisia took the lead in the first two quarters, leading in both the first and second quarters but the Morans made a strong comeback in the third quarter, winning by 10 points to overturn the lead by seven points.

Captain Griffin Ligare led by example. The point guard had the highest number of points in the game with 22.
In the fourth quarter, TunisiaΒ recovered with a 22-15 win over the Morans to draw at regular time, forcing the game into overtime.

Kenya booked a spot in the quarterfinals after edging out Ivory Coast 85-83 on Tuesday in yet another dramatic late win.
