Bid to Fold Musalia, Wetang’ula Parties Flops at State House: Ruto’s US Schedule Revealed Ahead Of His May Visit & Linturi Dealt Blow as Probe Team Admits New Evidence, Witnesses

Good morning,
After a long April holidays, President William Ruto has issued a directive for the reopening of all schools on Monday, May 13, 2024.

This decision comes in light of improved weather forecasts, indicating a reduction in heavy rains that had previously necessitated the postponement of school reopening.

Simultaneously, the President has taken proactive measures to address the infrastructure challenges faced by schools in the aftermath of the adverse weather conditions.

Ruto has instructed that funds for the reconstruction of damaged school infrastructure be expedited and made available through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).

However, some Kenyans are not satisfied that all is ripe for the reopening since some of the schools are still submerged in flood waters and acting as rescue centers for the affected families.

Do you support Ruto’s call to reopen schools on Monday?
