The devastating floods in the country have so far claimed over 200 lives with the weather man warning of more heavy rains in the coming days.

Kenyans especially those residing in flood prone areas as well as slum dwellers have been hit the most by the floods.

President Ruto while assessing the damage caused by floods in Mathare-Kiamaiko slums on Monday, promised to supply the displaced households with enough food and beddings for the time being.

In addition, the president revealed that his government is working tirelessly to rehabilitate schools destroyed by flash floods which in turn will enable all children to resume education once schools officially reopen.

Doctors Gives Ruto’s Govt 48-Hours Ultimatum as High Court’s 2:30 pm Deadline Nears

In response to High Court’s order to president William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government, KMPDU officials led by secretary general Devji Attelah has issued a 48 hours ultimatum to the state.

As reported by Tuesday’s People Daily publication, Doctors have given government a 48 hours ultimatum to go back to the table for final talks on unresolved issues of 2017 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
