Governor applauds county governments, emphasises this

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has highlighted the significant socio-economic progress made by County governments since the inception of devolution.

Speaking during the 2nd Homa Bay County International Investment Conference he cited progress in infrastructure, agriculture, health, tourism, and other sectors since the implementation of devolution.

“The fruits of devolution are clearly evident,” Governor Lusaka stated, emphasising the remarkable growth achieved by county governments.

He urged development partners to fulfil their investment pledges and commitments to ensure sustainable development in the counties. “Efforts by our partners should be actualised effectively to foster development,” he stressed.

Governor Lusaka also called for collaboration among counties to enhance service delivery.

The conference, hosted by Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, brought together leaders from the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) counties, including Kisumu Governor Prof. Peter Anyang’ Nyong, Siaya Governor James Orengo, and national government representatives
