Eight more coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country, the Health Ministry says.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Kenya to 15.

Among the new confirmed patients, 5 are Kenyans and three are foreigners, French and Mexican.

They are aged between 20 and 57.

On Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta led the country in seeking divine intervention over the scourge that has killed over 10,000 people worldwide.

Meanwhile, medical supplies meant to be used in the race towards coronavirus eradication, donated by Ali Baba co-founder Jack Ma,  arrived in Ethiopia on Sunday.

The face masks, protective clothing, and testing kits will be distributed among all African nations, with the countries pegged as being most at risk of a serious outbreak set to be prioritized.
