Will 2022 Be Ruto vs Mudavadi; Haji Rushes to Stop Sonko’s Witness Tampering Plot & Prisoners Ask Govt to Allow Them Enjoy Conjugal Rights

Good morning,
In the last 24 hours before penning this piece, I have found myself in the spirit of soul searching after I came to the knowledge that a 35-year-old man was hacked to death in Kisii, by his brother, after he was found engaging in sexual activity with his mother.

What pulled a shocker is the fact that the neighbouring families were privy to the abomination, to say the least, that is said to have happened not for the first time.

That aside, in February this year, a woman identified as Grace shocked the nation after he revealed that her husband married their daughter, who is a university graduate, as a co-wife.

In all these two separate instances, their respective societies were well aware but could not do anything.

These acts were impermissible in our ancient communities. Actors of this insane vices met cruel punishment that also rendered them excommunicated from society.

Our religious foundation, cultural beliefs and our human mentality form the basis of our moral fabric.

If our cultures are seemingly out of date, what about our religious foundations and humanity in us?

My optimism abandons me when our societies allow such vices to continue rocking our homes.

What went wrong!? Where did the rain start beating us? Where does the backstops?

It is time to rise and tame this meteoric rise of immorality. We must reclaim our heritage. We must defend humanity. We must mobilize and organize ourselves for this course. We must restore discipline!

That aside, here our top stories today:
