Arsenal has not beaten Sheffield United this season. The first leg ended in a 1-0 defeat to the Gunners while the match at the Emirates Stadium ended all square.
Meanwhile, Chelsea, who beat Premier League leaders Liverpool has been rewarded with a home tie against Brendan Rodgers Leicester City. The Foxes advanced to the quarters following a narrow 1-0 win over Championships side Birmingham City.
Defending Champions Manchester City will fight it out for a last-four berth with fellow Premier League side Newcastle United at St.James Park. Sergio Aguero scored the lone goal as Manchester City beat Sheffield Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Norwich City will face the winner between Derby County and Manchester United. Norwich beat Tottenham Hotspurs via a penalty shootout.
The match was marred by an ugly incident after the final whistle thatsawSpurs midfielder Eric Dier confront a fan after allegedly insulting him. Dier went up to the stands and was involved in a scuffle before security took control of the matter.
The quarter-final matches will be played on the weekend between the 21st and 22nd of March.
