However, the operation was costly for the detectives as they had to buy fuel for the heavy guzzlers to be driven out.
Detectives from the Economic Crimes Unit Raided the home of the CS at Karen where they arrested him for fraudulent acquisition of vehicles.
Echesa was taken to the Director of Criminal Investigations headquarters in Kiambu for questioning in a vehicle ownership probe.
The Monday raid was not a walk in the park for the officers who had been denied access into the posh home.
Detectives had to Jump through Echesa’s gate when their efforts to get into the compound were rendered futile for more than an hour.
A five-hour probe ensued, including a search inside his house.

The suspect denied police access to his home saying he could not allow them in without his lawyer Brian Khaemba.
Echesa seems to be a troubled man as his arrest comes only a few weeks after he was released from police custody.
He had been earlier on arrested on February 13 in connection with a 39.5 billion fake arms tender.
Deputy President William Ruto was named in the fraudulent deal as it is reported that Echesa signed the tender documents in his office.
