Manchester United on-loan signing Odion Ighalo finally scored his first goal for his new club on Thursday.
The 30-year-old superstar said after the match that it was ‘a dream come true’ to score his first goal for his boyhood club.
The Nigerian loanee made his first start for the club in the 5-0 win, which sent United through to the Round of 16 in the Europa League.
His goal came just after the half-hour mark, five minutes after Bruno Fernandes had broken the deadlock.
Ighalo found himself goal-side of the defensive line when Juan Mata flicked the ball back into the area, giving him an easy tap-in.
He now becomes the first Nigerian to play for United and to score- history well recorded!
