Embattled Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has previously been named in a list of politicians who won’t enjoy their 2019 Christmas.
Sonko, who is faced with graft charges has been a disturbed man since his arrest on December 6.
With a total of 30 charges laid against him, Sonko has turned out to be a religious man.
He started the religious journey with playing hymns, prayer sessions in his office, sharing bibble scriptures and now the Godly Governor can speak in tongues.
In a Facebook post written on Christmas day, Sonko ha a special message to both his friends and haters.
“As we usher 2020, I pronounce Prosperity in your lives, I pronounce victory in every battle you are facing santarayababababa, dabrakadabrayayaya, rarararabababa,” read part of his message.
He further thanked his supporters as they keep him going every day through their prayers.
Amid his Christmas and new year message, the golden governor also tabled evidence to show that he is innocent.
Sonko is well known for tabling his grievances, naming and shaming the EACC and DCI.
Although a court order had barred him against discussing the graft case on social media, his Christmas message was in contempt of court.
“If at all I wanted to enrich myself from the public confers I could have done so when I was dealing with the 64 Billion pending bills which I inherited from the previous administration,” wrote Sonko.
To his critics, this is what he had to say, “Let me also silence my beloved critics who say there’s a leadership crisis in Nairobi county, and that all our accounts have been frozen by the National Treasury, and that the National government wants to take over the management of Nairobi county.”
