Fast-rising Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has praised three first-team players for helping him settle in well since his promotion from the junior team.
The striker has been a revelation this season and has scored seven goals across all competitions despite featuring in a handful of matches. Only Marcus Rashford (14) has scored more than the 18-year old.
Asked how it has been like settling in the first team, the attacker said Juan Mata, Dan James, and Anthony Martial who he sits next to in the dressing room have helped him a lot. He further added that all the players have been nice.
“I sit next to Juan [Mata], Dan James and Anthony Martial in the dressing room so they are the main ones, who help me out a lot. But all the lads are really nice and helpful,” he said.
He further admitted that playing with the first team in the English Premier League has been tough but credits his teammates for helping him out.
“Obviously, it’s tough playing at the top level but it’s good to have all the other lads helping you out on the pitch. It’s like you never feel alone. If you make a mistake, it’s okay because everyone makes mistakes. I would say all the other lads help you; before the game, they are geeing you up and everything,” he added.
