Man United Linked With Angolan Wonder-kid

Manchester United have joined Barcelona in the race for highly-rated Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

The 17-year old has taken Ligue 1 by storm this season with some electrifying performance drawing interest from clubs across Europe and will reportedly attract a fee of around 30 million pounds from any side keen on pricing him away.

Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Barcelona are some of the clubs that have been closely monitoring the youngster and rebuilding United have now joined the fray.

A defensive midfielder by trade, Camavinga has been compared to Man United midfielder Paul Pogba due to his technical abilities and is viewed as a long term replacement for wantaway Frenchman who is keen on quiting United for Real Madrid.

Born in Angola, the dreadlocked midfielder moved to France aged 6 and joined Rennes academy where he has worked his way up to the senior team. He is reportedly in the process of securing French Citizenship as he is keen on playing for France national teams.

United has also been linked with a host of other players. Lyon’s Moussa Dembele, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez, Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace James Maddison of Leicester City and Mario Mandzukic of Juventus are some of the players linked with moves to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
