Why the Bullfighter Will not Surrender

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has been the major target of a stone-throwing trend that was witnessed at the Kibra by-election on Thursday.

The man with an interest in bullfighting proved that he can not only fight with Ikolomani bulls but also Stones.

Khalwale was unabated in his task to deliver the Kibra votes to the Jubilee party as assigned by his ‘master’ DP William Ruto.

He narrowly escaped being injured after a stone directed to him did not land on the target.

The bullfighter seemed unperturbed by the incident and proceeded to Laini Saba where he was attacked again.

This time, he was well roughed up by his attackers who threw stones at him while accusing him of delivering bribes to the voters in Kibra.

Police officers came to his rescue as they shot in the air to disperse the rowdy residents giving him an opportunity to flee to Uperhill polling station.

After a short while, the bullfighter bounced back on his feet to continue with his mission.

Barely hours after the near-miss, Boni Mtetezi has resurfaced, this time, to observe the vote tallying exercise.

Boni mtetezi who seemed unbowed was committed to his mission to deliver victory to Mc Donald Mariga.

The DP did not make any appearance in Kibra on the day of elections even though he has been leading his team in campaigns since Mc Donald Mariga was cleared to vie for the seat.

Other DP Ruto’s point-men who were present in Kibra grounds included Didmus Barasa, John Kiarie, Nixon Korir, and Jaguar.

While the ‘Jubilee boys’ are at work, their master has disappeared from the public waiting to be served with Mariga’s Victory.
