During an episode of ‘Up Close with Betty’ fans got a look at Janet Mbugua’s house which is quite elegant and is most likely located in a leafy suburb.
Marriage Life
Aside from seeing the house, fans also got a closer look at Janet’s impressive rise to the top and also a glance at what marriage life is like for the Ndichus who wedded publicly about 3 years ago.
Janet admitted that marriage is not a walk in the park and advised people to take their time. She also revealed that marriage is not necessarily the end game of love, you can love someone without a lifetime commitment.
“I always tell those who keep on saying, ‘Oh my God, I can’t wait to start a family…’ I say two things: Take your time, and make sure that you are ready; because you could be good at being in love, but you do not really need to be married,” she advised.
Janet also noted that having a healthy work-life balance is a challenge and noted that the fact that she has admitted that marriage is not easy will undoubtedly attract negative blog posts.
“Trying to balance family, work and expectations is really hard…I love my family, I love where I am…. And, I know, the moment you say it is not easy, I can predict what the blog posts would say… But, it is fine, they would talk about it,” she said.
