A firebrand ODM legislator picked a longstanding fight with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko moments after he was filmed partying hard abroad.
Speaking to K24’s Anne Kiguta, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo slammed Sonko for having a pot-belly, advising him to start working out.
“For a young person, what is he doing with that kind of a pot?” she asked, “Go to the gym instead of dancing!”

Of late, Sonko is facing investigations of impropriety and illegal awarding of garbage tenders in the county.
The governor has also been grilled by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) over claims of tax evasion, a matter so grave that Sonko embarked on the process of naming a Deputy Governor should he be asked to step down.
For the Governor, who has portrayed a life of opulence and influence, his options are running out, with the County assembly adding into the confusion.
Last week Governor Sonko had to do a live video condemning an attack against embattled County Speaker Beatrice Elachi. Police are reviewing CCTV footages with the view of bringing those culpable to book.
Sonko and Millie Odhiambo have been embroiled in a bitter exchange after the controversial Governor revealed that the late Kibra MP Ken Okoth had sired a son with a nominated MCA.
The MP was particularly irked by the comments, indicating that Sonko did not have to ’embarrass’ the family of the late Okoth with the comments.
However, Sonko would proceed to post unsavoury social media messages against the Suba North MP, claiming she should keep quiet because she also “sleeps around.”
