Gor Mahia coach Steve Pollack is back in the country and this morning conducted training sessions with the team ahead of Sundays League clash with Kariobangi Sharks.

His return ends speculation that he had abandoned the team due to unpaid salary and allowances. The club is currently going through tough times financially with the chairman Ambrose Rachier admitting that the players have not been paid for two months.

Almost all clubs in the league are broke following the withdrawal of Sponsorship by giant betting firm Sportpesa.

However, the Englishman was spotted in training this morning taking the team through drills. Pollack is yet to lose a league match this season and has a chance of taking Gor Mahia to the Confederations Cup group stages this season. He joined Gor Mahia this season following the departure of previous head coach Hassan Oktay.
