Eldoret Police Arrest Sex Worker, Recover Rare Drug Used to Steal From Customers.

Police in Eldoret town have arrested a sex worker who is suspected to have stolen Sh50,000 from her client and in the process recovered a controversial drug used by most sex workers to steal from customers.

According to Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Johnston Ipara, the sex worker who was arrested in Langas estate was suspected to have laced the man’s drink with some drugs forcing him to sleep before stealing from him.

“On Saturday our officers who were on their line of duty arrested one suspect by the name Doris Kinya who is suspected to have stolen money from one person in a restaurant in Langas, Kapseret Constituency,” communicated Ipara

The commander went ahead to reveal that after thoroughly searching the woman’s house, the officers found the drugs.

“After our officers searched the suspect’s house, they found some drugs which we suspect they usually use to give drug their clients before stealing from them,” he added.

The controversial drug was later identified as ‘Kiboko ya Jini’ (Demon’s whip).

The police boss called on the members of the public who had fallen victims of the same to come out and help the officers in identifying the suspect for proper action.

He also issued a strong warning to the owners of bars and restaurants in the town against allowing such incidences in the premises saying stern actions will be taken against them.

The incident comes in the wake of bumper wheat harvest in Uasin Gishu county that usually attracts twilight girls from all over the country who flocks Eldoret hoping to cash in from the farmers who usually harvest their produce from October.
