Spanish giants, Barcelona are reportedly considering a summer swap involving Antoine Griezmann as they look to bring Neymar back from Paris Saint- Germain.
The Frenchman was acquired from Laliga rivals Atletico Madrid in the summer but has failed to hit the ground running quick enough and it now appears like the Catalan club is fast losing patience with the World Cup winner.
According to reports in Spain, Barca will be keen on using him as part of the deal to bring back the Brazilian forward to the Camp Nou. Barcelona tried to sign Neymar in the summer but was priced out and his club was not very interested in selling the attacker who made it clear that he wants to quit the French capital base club.
Griezmann has scored three goals for Barcelona this season but has looked out of place in most of the games with most observing that he has not fitted in and is largely affected by Barcelona’s style of play and pattern.
The striker also admitted that he has struggled to bond with Lionel Messi and reports suggest that he is a sidelined figure in Catalonia, another reason the club will be keen on ‘disposing of’ him.
‘It has been difficult to get to know each other. Neither of us is individuals who like to talk a lot, and he has spent a lot of time injured – so we have not been able to work together a lot on the training pitch,” he said earlier this week.
