We have come to the end of a week that has been full of drama, despair and a new record of no last-minute rush to do away with the old Ksh 1000 notes.

Despair rocked the country following the tragedy of a mother and a daughter trapped in a car that plunged into the Indian Ocean on Sunday evening.

Five days later and their bodies have not been recovered. Actually, very minimal has been done in the recovery operation.

This has exposed the poor state of our emergency preparation mechanisms. What should be done to avoid such an incident happening in future?

The three NASA principals have been dealt a huge blow after being locked out of Ksh 6.2 billion to be allocated to ODM party.

Registrar of Political parties claimed that coalition agreement between the leaders did not cater for sharing of the funds.

KCB Bank Piles More Worries on Ruto Over Weston Hotel

The largest bank in the country roped itself into the Weston Hotel matter in regards to the controversial land the property sits on.

The bank will now join the case that Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) sued Weston and National Land Commission (NLC) in a bid to recover the 1.77-acre parcels.

11 Public Universities caught in Ksh.9.7B tax evasion racket

Six university vice-chancellors risk legal action taken against them for failing to remit Pay As You Earn (PAYE) tax to the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

The taxman revealed he will go after the institutions’ bank accounts as one of the ways to recover the money.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has been ordered to pay former Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche Ksh 108million for wrongful dismissal. Kenya risks being locked out of the 2022 word cup qualifiers if the money isn’t paid. We know we won’t be going to the world cup even if we play in the qualifiers.
