Good Morning!

We are already three days into September, a month largely related with success. September babies have been mentioned to be more successful than their peers! Somebody shout SUCCESS!

In Mau however, their success over the years seems to be at the verge of destruction as the government moves to implement an eviction notice from water catchment areas. Sadly, the topic has turned all political and messy with MPs allied to DP Ruto warning the President that this could be the end of Jubilee!

Decorated Kenya international footballer McDonald Mariga has also decided to chase success elsewhere and is now fully emersed in active politics. The 32-year-old has now explained the reason for this critical move that has attracted more criticism than praise.

Talking of wasted success, former ‘Inspekta Mwala’ actor and radio presenter Allan Muliro has opened up about his journey through alcoholism and recovery in rehab. The presenter regrets his action and is ready to make up for it. He is now looking for a job.

Here are the news making headlines on Opera News this morning.

A section of Rift Valley leaders wants evictees from the Mau Forest re-settled in the Kenyatta family land. The MPs, mostly allied to Deputy President William Ruto also warned that the looming eviction could be the last straw in the Jubilee political marriage.

The MPs have accused CS Tobiko of being partisan and challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to speak directly into the matter vowing not to let up on their quest to have the settlers remain in the catchment area.

If you also want to save and do not know where to start, this is for you too: put aside every Ksh10 you get from today until the end of the month.
