However, it is not clear why Kenyans have associated the country’s youngest governor with BBI when it is in public record that he has always stood for Ekuru Aukot’s Punguza Mizigo Initiative.

The discussion on whether the governor supports BBI or not came just days after Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago accused BBI for insinuating that they had collected views of Uasin Gishu county residents when nobody had actually contacted him as the county boss.

Mandago who was speaking last week during Turkana Festivals in Lodwar was however told off by ODM boss Raila Odinga and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed who insisted that the group was in Uasin Gishu collecting views from the public.

Nearly all the Rift Valley leaders have given their views on the BBI debate. Nandi County Governor Stephen Arap Sang “I support Punguza Mzigo” Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Kiplagat Mandago “BBI didn’t consult us & therefore their report will be null & void” UasinGishu women representative Gladys Boss Shollei “We’re not fools. We understand constitution very well, the BBI Intention is questionable” Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi “BBI is a piece of thrash

Most of the Rift Valley residents have however vowed to reject BBI and instead offer full support for Ekuru Aukot’s Punguza Mizigo Initiative.

Felix Chirchir Konya down fall of sang.any person who doesnt support rutto in nandi will never get any seat….tell sang awache ujinga.

Steven Kiptoo Our gorvenors are brilliant people but somebody is determined to silence them, somebody wants to kill devolution. Elgeiyo Marakwet is a good example, did you follow that meeting in Iten over the weekend?

Songol Isaac Punguza panda whatever you say we shall punguza mzigo by all means

Raymond Kipchumba This is clear evidence that BBI went round the 47 Counties but a few misplaced elements were waiting for their godfather to give them direction and ammunition to attack the BBI. Tanga Tanga nyinyi ndio mzigo na mutapunguzwa kwa Bunge na Senati

Erastus Mwanyumba BBI is a scam, until they tell us who caused the killing of innocent citizens in 2017 nothing will change
It’s either Uhuru stole the elections or Raila refused to admit defeat.
The funny thing is that most BBI supporters are the ones who also believed that votes ziko kwa server fake story.
