Manchester United ended last season with a very bad run of form. The Performances were disjointed and lacking in spirit and the results were clear evidence that change was inevitable. The Red Devils failed to win in their last 6 matches last season and lost on the final day to already relegated Cardiff.
The bad run prompted manager Ole Gunnar to issue a stern warning to his players reminding them that he is ready to lose anyone who does not fight for the shirt. Indeed, he even went as far as saying the Cardiff match was the last Manchester United match that most of his player s will ever play.
The quotes gave fans a lot of hope going into the summer transfer window. Many expected the club to move on the deadwood from the squad while adding quality players.
However, with the transfer window now officially shut, Manchester United signed 3 players. Aaron Wan Bissaka from Crystal Palace, Winger Daniel James from Swansea and Leicester center-back Harry Maguire were the only arrivals at Old Trafford.
The shoddy business has been the subject of countless mock posts on twitter…

Manchester United bought Lukaku under Jose Mourinho and even added Zlatan due to lack of goals from Rashford and Martial. Zlatan left and today they've sold Lukaku to remain with Rashford and Martial with no replacement. Back to square one.

Gucci Slippers..
Just a quick reminder that Phil Foden, who's 18yrs old, a sub for City, never played for England's 1st team, would walk straight into Manchester United's midfield in Gucci slippers right now & play every week.
