REVEALED! Waititu was Hiding at the Home of top Jubilee Leader

A while ago, a video, in which embattled Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu said he only feared God and uji moto went viral on social media.

But it now seems that the governor was lying about the things he fears. Waititu couldn’t imagine spending a Friday night in a cold prison cell. Though he had a tough upbringing during his childhood in Kibra, life as a politician and a governor should have definitely softened Baba Yao. And he would rather enjoy a glass of fine whiskey on a Friday night rather than be fighting mosquitos in custody.

But where was this man hiding that detectives could not locate him? Detectives from EACC had searched the governors three homes in Nairobi without success on Friday when the DPP directed that he should be arrested and charged with the award of an illegal tender in the award of a sh588 million road tender.

It has now emerged that Waititu was hiding in the home of a top Jubilee Leader. According to a local Daily, detectives dared not to move into the compound because of respect accorded to the office. We know detectives have arrested even governors and recently a sitting Cabinet Secretary, so who is this top Jubilee Leader?

On Monday, The Standard Newspaper sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta had snubbed his Deputy at JKIA on Saturday evening. Ruto was at the airport to receive the President who was jetting in from Zambia. But according to the newspaper, President Kenyatta did not want to be seen with Waititu, who was also at the airport with Ruto. (Ruto has denied these allegations)

The Star Newspaper alleged that Waititu had used the top Jubilee leader’s car during his time in hiding. If Waititu was at JKIA with Ruto on Saturday, then can we assume that he was hiding at Ruto’s home?

Ruto enjoys great friendship with Baba Yao. In May, the DP defended the former Kabete MP, after allegations that the county government has allocated money for national government functions like Free Primary Education and Peace Keeping mission in South Sudan.

“People should not ask Baba Yao irrelevant questions. He should only be asked about things to do with Kiambu County. For other queries, we have people in the National Government including Cabinet Secretaries who can answer,” he stated.
