What Bob Collymore told Jeff Koinange on Saturday

Citizen TV Journalist Jeff Koinange has revealed that Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore was dying. He added that Collymore was prepared for his death.

The giant telco announced on Monday morning that Bob Collymore had passed away at his Nairobi home on Monday morning after a long battle with Leukemia.

“I was with him this Saturday (29th June 2019) and he kept saying “I have lived a good life…I have some regrets… it is not a perfect life but I am ready now. He was ready for it. He had prepared his family and friends for any eventualities.” said Koinange.

Jeff revealed that doctors had informed the late CEO of the same and had advised him against making any long term plans since his days were coming to an end. Koinange said that before his death, Bob was in high spirits and was so prepared for any eventualities.

“He needed blood platelets to enable his blood cloth. We had to contribute some platelets for him that day. Every one of us has cancer cells in their bodies only waiting for some antibodies to activate them.” said Jeff

Jeff added that on their day of the visit, Bob was complaining of some pains his spinal code that could not allow him seat for long hours hence they had to bid him bye after some time promising to visit him again on the course of the week.

The late Bob was suffering from Leukemia cancer. Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow. Bone marrow produces blood. In April this year, Bob revealed how his cancer was misdiagnosed as a Vitamin D deficiency.

“I had been feeling unwell for awhile, tired and with high temperatures from time to time; it got so bad that I could not make it to company events,” he said on the JKL show.
