Gospel musician Kizo B has just released a brand new song a few days after hinting on taking his own life.
Kenyan based Tanzanian gospel artist Kizo B last week shared a suicide note on his Facebook page saying he has no reason to live anymore.
“Death is the only solution to my situation now. pray for my child to be strong and I am very sorry for my team VEKTA KENYA you are the best boss I have. ”he explained on Facebook.
The suicide note caught many shocked and was worried about the secular-turned-gospel artist.
Kizo B began as a secular artist and went through many challenges that made him later change into the gospel industry. By then, his music was not selling as much and speculations had it that he was looking for greener pastures.
Fast forward, after his suicidal note, he was interviewed by Mzazi Willy M. Tuva who later apologized for the shocking details he shared on social media.
But why is it hard to believe him?
He joined Gospel around five years ago and unlike some of the artists whose music tops chats after ditching secular, he has ever been an underground artist.
Kizo B released his song only a few days after the suicide note which means he was just seeking attention for the anticipated song.
This has been seen with many artists creating a buzz on social media for people to talk about them. Otile Brown and Vera Sidika last year hit headlines after their breakup which was stage-managed just before the release of Baby Love.
Gospel Bahati also in 2014 made headlines after he said that he was ditching music, but to the shock of the public, he went to his home in Kamba land and shot Itakuwa Sawa.
This is also similar to the weddings seen online only to find out it is a music video.
This has been a norm in the Kenyan industry and artists are never taken seriously anymore.
Sadly, Kizo B’s song is just 450 views on Youtube which is not worth the whole suicide scandal if it was a hoax.
