As the 2022 succession politics gain momentum, almost every move and decision made by our political leaders is politically affiliated.
At the same time, it seems Ruto’s growing popularity in President Uhuru Kenyatta backyard is as well raising alarm which has prompted a section of leaders to warn him against stepping foot in the County without his boss.
While that order, threat or statement awaits validation- some of Ruto’s supporters in the region are showing solidarity the best way they know how- albeit while courting trouble.

A Kiambu MCA was arrested on Monday night for driving a vehicle with a portrait of Deputy President William Ruto in full military fatigue. Weitethie MCA Macharia Taki was arrested alongside his driver, George Kiarie, for depicting Ruto as the commander in chief.
The vehicle further displayed graphics of the Coat of Arms and national flag. The vehicle, a Toyota Hiace, has been detained at the Juja police station.

Now all guns have turned to one Opposition Leader Raila Odinga whose rivalry with the Deputy President is taking new levels.
Some of Kenyans who took to social media to protest the move questions why Raila Odinga was never arrested when he unlawfully got sworn in as the Peoples President of Kenya despite having lost the presidential elections.
