Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut on Wednesday found himself on the wrong side of the Twitter users after his suggestion to have William Ruto and Anne Waiguru run as President and Deputy in 2022 was met with mixed reactions.
Chepkut through his twitter account had proposed that the duo will clinch the presidency seat by 1 pm in August 2022 if they agree to work together.
The post was however met with fierce criticism from Twitter users who termed the Ainabkoi legislature as daydreaming. Many told off Chepkut advising him to only restrict his political thoughts to his constituency.
Here are some of the reactions:
You're one of the problem kenya has

Your understanding of kenyan politics should be restricted to your constituency

Halafu ile story ya kubeba pesa kwa gunia Kama viazi na kucatwalk on us itakuwaje? Ama unamaanisha ni treasury itakuwa imefagiliwa by 2 pm. We know what we were told my friend. Stop political conmanship.

Earlier on the day, the controversial legislation was also on the receiving end after daring Kilifi member of parliament Aisha Jumwa to resign and seek re-election in Jubilee party if indeed she loved Deputy President William Ruto.
If Aisha Jumwa really loves William Ruto, let her resign her ODM seat and seek a fresh mandate on a Jubilee ticket. This is how people prove their love and loyalty.

Chepkut recently came to the aid of embattled former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant BUZEKI saying that he does not need the support of William Ruto in 2022 to become a governor.
According to the MP, Buzeki has huge following among the masses in the county. Some days ago, Chepkut, apparently quoting a local newspaper report, said that only two Uasin Gishu MPs were left supporting DP Ruto.
