But The Chair of the Council of Governors Wycliffe Oparanya has come out to announce his Presidential bid under ODM party.

Oparanya has announced his Presidential bid days after meeting with Hon Raila Odinga in his home in Butere.
The Second term Governor is expected to battle it out with Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho who has also announced his presidential bid for 2022.
ODM is expected to experience a tough time in selecting their flag bearer.
