Kenyan Singer and Radio Queen Tanasha Donna has been nominated for the best new act in prestigious Star Q Awards.
The Radio hitmaker shared he excitement on her Instastory stating that this is her first nomination ever.
The nomination comes weeks after the release of her debut music video that created traction both locally and Internationally.
Although Tanasha has received so much love after her comeback in the music industry, she has equally been attacked and had to deal with so much hatred.
Tanasha says her nomination into this award proves that no weapon against her shall prosper.
The Singer says that she got into tears after she woke up to this news and attributes it to God’s blessing.
Tanasha also says that this nomination proves her haters wrong on so many levels and shows that charts never lie and clearly she is doing great although not everyone can see it.
The Singer added that she is indeed grateful to her fans and the fact that she has a supportive lover who is hardworking and treats her like a queen.
“…Bae told me don’t you see that the hate they show you is a blessing? then he adds… you will learn though i’l show you how it’s done…” she wrote in her post
Tanasha says she is fully aware that people will hate on her music and others will say she does not know how to sing but she strongly believes that charts do not lie.
